Eddy brings over 20 years of experience in wealth management and financial planning. He started as an external auditor, then worked as a Finance Manager, and spent three years in insurance sales with Prudential before co-founding Providend in 2001, Southeast Asia’s first fee-only advisory firm.

Eddy served as Head of Financial Planning for 17 years before leading DIYInsurance, Singapore’s first life insurance comparison portal, which later merged with NTUC Enterprise to form MoneyOwl. As Chief Advisory Officer of MoneyOwl, he played a key role in developing robo-advisory platforms for insurance, investments, will-writing, and comprehensive financial planning.

Returning to Providend in 2020, Eddy led the Solutions Team, focusing on advanced wealth planning and insurance services. 

Eddy is now the CEO of Havend, where he continues to provide unbiased insurance advice, drawing on his extensive experience in the industry.
